tatkal Passport Fees/Charges

Tatkal Passport Fees are the charges that you have to pay to get an Indian passport quickly by using tatkal scheme. The tatkal fees may differ based on the age as well as the category under which it is issued as shown below (If it’s 36 pages it’s a different charge whereas if it’s 60 pages means generally Rs 500 higher)

For applicants less than age of 15, passport won’t be issued under tatkal category and they have to apply it under the normal category. If the applicant has lost or damaged passport and if the passport has not expired then the tatkal charges are higher at Rs 5000 (For most of the other categories it’s either Rs 3500 or Rs 4000)
