The most direct way to get assistance is by calling the National Call Centre. This service is designed to provide quick and easy support for all your passport-related queries.

  • Toll-Free Number: You can call the 1800-258-1800 number. This is a toll-free helpline, so you won’t be charged for the call.
  • Citizen Service Executive Support: If you prefer speaking to a person, citizen service executives are available from 8 AM to 10 PM.
  • 24/7 Support: For simple questions, the Automated Interactive Voice Response (IVRS) Support is available 24 hours a day. This is perfect for checking the status of an application or for general information outside of normal business hours.
  •  For J&K and NorthEast: Citizens are requested to dial 040-66720567(paid) for J&K and 040-66720581(paid) for NE states. Inconvenience caused is regretted.
